I recently had the opportunity to take a super fun screenprinting class and I just had to share the experience with you all. The class was held at a Abstract Denver and was taught by a talented and enthusiastic instructor.

The first thing that struck me about the class was how welcoming and inclusive the atmosphere was. There were people of all ages and skill levels, from beginners like me to experienced artists. It was great to see everyone coming together to learn and create.

We started by learning about the screenprinting process and the materials we would be using. The instructor walked us through each step, from preparing the screen to mixing the inks. I was amazed at how much goes into the process and gained a new appreciation for the art form.

Once we had the basics down, it was time to get our hands dirty. Then came the best part - actually printing our designs onto shirts and tote bags. The moment when I lifted the screen to reveal the design was so satisfying. I ended up making several prints because I was having so much fun experimenting with different colors and techniques.

Throughout the class, the instructor provided individualized guidance and tips, which really helped me improve my skills. It was clear that they were passionate about screenprinting and genuinely wanted to help each of us succeed.

By the end of the class, I had a collection of unique prints that I was proud of. I also left with a newfound passion for screenprinting and a desire to continue exploring the medium. Overall, the screenprinting class was a fantastic experience. I not only learned a new skill, but I also met some wonderful people and had a blast being creative. I would highly recommend taking a screenprinting class to anyone looking for a fun and hands-on artistic experience.
