If you believe, legend has it that a pet squid was released into Sloan’s Lake and grew into a voracious kraken and terrorized the Colorado locals of the day. The well-known local riverboat, the Frolic; where people took rides to enjoy their afternoon, once had a run-in with the monster. Forever stamping its name in the legend of the Sloan’s Lake Kraken! That very scene is featured here.
